Terms of Sale

These terms explain how buying from Zingy works: placing an order, paying, delivery, returns and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them before you order.

1. About These Terms

These terms apply to every order you place on zingybeddings.com and to your use of the website. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't place an order.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 ("FCCPA") or any other law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.

2. Who We Are

We are Zingy Beddings (RC 7452356), of 2 Ajagba Street, off Fijabi Street, Agric, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. You can contact us at hello@zingybeddings.com or on +234 805 048 1015.

3. Placing an Order

  1. You add products to your cart, enter your details, choose a delivery option and pay through Paystack.
  2. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract between you and us is formed when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation by email.
  3. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.
  4. Please check your details carefully before paying. You are responsible for giving us an accurate delivery address and a phone number we can reach you on.
  5. We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if a product is unavailable, the price was clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we will tell you and refund you in full.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Where Value Added Tax applies, it is included in the price shown.
  • Delivery fees depend on your location and are shown at checkout before you pay. The total you pay is the product price plus the delivery fee shown.
  • Payment is taken by Paystack, a licensed payment processor, by debit card, bank transfer, USSD or the other methods Paystack offers. We do not see or store your card details.
  • Your order is not confirmed until payment is received in full.
  • We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

5. Availability and Errors

All products are subject to availability. If a product sells out after you pay, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

We take care that prices and descriptions are accurate. If we discover a clear pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Delivery, Risk and Ownership

  • Delivery areas, fees and estimated times are set out in our delivery policy and at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Please inspect your order when it arrives and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged, missing or wrong.
  • The products become your responsibility, and you become their owner, once they are delivered to the address you gave us.

7. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Items

You can return unused items within 7 days of delivery, and faulty or incorrect items are always our responsibility. Full details are in our returns and refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

Under the FCCPA, goods must be of good quality, reasonably suitable for their purpose and match their description. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as the law provides, in addition to what our returns policy offers.

8. Product Information and Care

We describe each product as accurately as we can, including its size, fabric and care instructions. Colours may look slightly different on your screen than in real life, and natural fabrics can vary a little between batches. Following the care instructions on the product page and label will help your bedding last; damage caused by not following them is not a fault.

9. Our Liability

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses (our products are sold for domestic and private use), or for loss caused by events outside our control.
  • Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order, including delivery.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights under the FCCPA.

10. Using Our Website

You may use this website for personal, lawful shopping. You must not misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its security or operation, introducing malicious code, scraping it in bulk, or placing fraudulent orders. We may suspend access or cancel orders where we reasonably suspect misuse.

11. Intellectual Property

The Zingy Beddings name, the Citrus Rise logo, our photographs, text and website design belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, flooding, strikes, road closures, civil unrest, power or network outages, or failures by carriers or payment providers. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as possible, and you may cancel for a refund of anything not yet delivered.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a complaint, please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly that way. If we cannot resolve it together, you may refer the matter to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) or to the courts of Lagos State, which will have jurisdiction, without affecting any other rights you have as a consumer.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on the website when you placed it.
